The breakfast was excellent and it was fun talking
with the owner and his wife over a delicious meal. The inn's historic charm and well-maintained rooms added to the experience, though the noise from the nearby road occasionally interrupted our relaxation.

i had high hopes for the deluxe queen room, but it was smaller than my closet, and the tv? more like a pebble than a screen. i expected some special treatment for the trouble of icy steps and a locked fire exit, but no, just regular service, how delightful! i almost gave a good review but just couldn’t.

Had a fantastic time with friends! We enjoyed hiking nearby and watching the woods come alive. The breakfasts were delicious and every detail was thought of. Check out performances at Shakespeare and Company – they were incredible. It's a perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying great Berkshire attractions.
One small downside was the slight noise from the main road, but it didn’t affect our stay too much.
